The Cockburn Bowling and Recreational Club Inc is a not-for-profit organisation and as such is governed by a Management Committee who are elected by the Members of the Club.  The Management Committee has strategic oversight of the Club with an emphasis on the strategic direction, financial management and good governance.

The Cockburn Bowling and Recreational Club Committee members serve a term of 2 Years with alternating terms and commencement dates to ensure continuity in the strong governance of the Club.

The role of a Cockburn Bowling and Recreational Club Management Committee member is significant and is certainly time consuming, all Board members of the club are voluntary. Furthermore, the Committee is responsible for the employment of the Club Manager.

The Club Manager is the Clubs most senior employee and oversees the day to day management of the club and its employees.
